Welcome to the Coast

15 events from Thursday through Wednesday โ€” markets, comedy, trivia, wine nights, and two festivals you don't want to miss.

Happy May Day, coast dwellers. If you're reading this, you either live here (smart) or wish you did (also smart, but with a longer commute). The marine layer has been doing its thing all week โ€” burning off by noon, rolling back in by 4pm like clockwork. Set your watch by it.

This week: the 10th Annual Tamale Festival takes over Atascadero, the 13th annual Buellton Brew Fest returns, and Downtown Fridays kicks off another season in Santa Maria. Plus SLO Farmers Market Thursday night, trivia at The Collective on Tuesday, Wine Down Wednesday at Brick Barn, and live comedy at Libertine Brewing. We've also got your farmers markets, brunch picks, and a Chumash Casino show. Plan accordingly.

Let's get to it.
